The Transforming Technologies Cup-Style Heel Grounder Buckle Closure (HG1232) is comfortable and works well with most footwear. It includes a buckle closure for an excellent, secure fit. Furthermore, it uses a full 36-inch conductive ribbon to make contact with the body.
These grounders connect the person wearing them to ground. Therefore, this connection occurs via a proper floor mat or flooring material. Wearing the conductive ribbon inside the shoe or sock assures proper electrical contact with the user. Additionally, a visible, molded 1 meg ohm resistor is standard. You wear heel grounders on both feet. Thus, this practice provides consistent grounding while staff members are in motion. This product meets or exceeds requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20.
