The Transforming Technologies Full Coverage ESD Sole Grounders (HG6000 series) offer a more complete path to ground. Consequently, they surpass regular heel or toe grounders. This is due to a wider, more consistent contact area. These sole grounders provide rapid, complete static dissipation. Specifically, they maintain constant contact through the entire walking motion.
Wearing the conductive ribbon inside the shoe or sock assures proper electrical contact with the user. Furthermore, a rugged 1 meg ohm buried resistor is standard. You wear sole grounders on both feet. Thus, this practice provides consistent grounding while staff members are in motion. The product meets or exceeds requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20. They are available in XS, S, M, and L sizes, with options for one or two meg resistors.
