Contec CONSTIX Wood Handle Sealed Foam Swab 6"
The Contec CONSTIX Wood Handle Sealed Foam Swab (SF-11) consists of a foam head. This head forms over the end of a 6” cotton-tipped applicator, which features a wood handle. The foam head utilizes 100 PPI sealed closed-cell polyurethane foam.
The soft, polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment and removal. Furthermore, its absorbent foam readily absorbs solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol. This makes it ideal for applications involving solvent delivery or removal.
No adhesives are used in its construction, and the wood handle is solvent resistant. The swab has low levels of particles and fibers. It is also well-suited to applying solutions and adhesives. While compatible with many common solvents, we do not recommend using the SF-11 with ketones such as acetone or MEK.
