Contec CONSTIX Single-Ended Cotton Swab 5.9"
The Contec CONSTIX Single-Ended Cotton Swab (SC-9) consists of high-quality, long staple-length cotton. We tightly wrap and shape this cotton on one end of a high-strength, wood handle. A methyl-cellulose binder holds the head securely to the handle. These are Sanyo Huby brand swabs, which Contec imports.
The high-quality cotton fibers provide exceptional sorbency of most solvents and solutions. The very tightly wrapped and shaped head, secured with a methyl-cellulose binder, minimizes fiber shedding. The SC series cotton swabs effectively absorb most common solvents, including isopropyl alcohol and acetone. They are also ideal for use with aqueous based solutions.
