Contec CONSTIX Cotton-Tipped Sealed Foam Swab 6″
The Contec CONSTIX Cotton-Tipped Sealed Foam Swab (SF-19) consists of a 100 PPI sealed closed-cell polyurethane foam head. This head forms over the cotton bud of a 6” applicator, which features a wooden handle. The soft, polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment and removal. Furthermore, its absorbent foam readily absorbs solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, making it ideal for applications involving solvent delivery or removal.
The SF-19 swab has very low levels of particles and fibers. It is also well-suited to applying solutions and adhesives. The wooden handles use no adhesives and are solvent resistant. The SF-19 is absorbent and compatible with most solvents. However, we do not recommend using the swab with ketones, such as acetone or MEK.
