Contec CONSTIX Sealed Foam Swab 5"
The Contec CONSTIX Sealed Foam Swab 5″ (SF-2) consists of a 100 pore-per-inch sealed closed-cell foam head. This head thermally seals and bonds to a polypropylene handle, without using adhesives or binders. The polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment and removal. Importantly, the large size of the SF-2 swab’s foam head offers better surface coverage for cleaning.
The SF-2 swab is compatible with many solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, but we do not recommend using it with ketones, such as acetone or MEK.
