Contec CONSTIX Flexible Tip Sealed Foam Swab 4.2"
The Contec CONSTIX Flexible Tip Sealed Foam Swab (SF-7) consists of 100 PPI polyurethane foam. This foam adhesive-bonds to a flexible nylon tip. The tip then mechanically secures within a tubular polypropylene handle. The polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment and removal. Furthermore, its absorbent foam readily enables solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, to be sorbed. This makes it ideal for applications involving solvent delivery or removal.
While compatible with many common solvents, we do not recommend using the SF-7 with ketones, such as acetone or MEK.
